Stormbloc® hardshell fabrics are the latest generation of technical outerwear. These fabrics are designed to replace traditional shell and fleece systems, reducing the weight and number of layers needed to protect. The hardshell outer surface is extremely abrasion resistant, highly breathable to prevent overheating, and the technical aspects of waterproof 8,000mm and breathability 5,000G/M2. The fabric also is coated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) surface coating so the water beads off. Other features include microfleece lined collar, under-arm zipper vents, inside MP3 player pocket, YKK® zippers throughout, interior front storm flap.
